Crumbs
The following is a trace of Route Haunting: A Barnes Adventure: waypoints to signpost what was, what is, and what if (we can only walk in this virtual landscape). This is an anarchival entry complimenting the live walk and zine.
If you have not completed a walk, please use the contact page to join. A zine is distributed to every walk participant.

… For the walk-curious, inspiration-seeking, or simply those wandering about this anarchive. This is not an introduction or guide.
A walk through the rights of way that cross through homes and gardens in Barnes.
This final walk is somewhat self-guided – we follow the map, with assistance from the activator if needed. Each part of the zine is read aloud whenever an Interactor senses to do so.
Zero Point N – Permissive Path
GPS: 51.47031, -0.247411
Grid Ref: TQ 56192 76988
Zero points N and O are crossroads. No specific passages need to be read here, though they can be.
Zero Point O – Right of Passage
GPS: 51.47029, -0.25061
Grid Ref: TQ 56414 76993
To self-select where and when passages are read, interactors are encouraged to practice the mindfulness and desensitization techniques developed during the walk.
Zero-Point P: A Pub
GPS: 51.47111, -0.25577
Grid Ref: TQ 56770 77095
At the river, the activator reflects on the muddles that arose during the walk and then draws a conclusion based on the interactor’s contributions. The commentary draws on entries in the anarchive, for example how the handiwork the Woolfs undertook at the Hogarth Press effected Virginia’s writing practice, how FLINTA Folx are identified and defined or simply more specific details of the history of English commons.
To ensure the integrity of a ‘walk in England’, interactors are invited to a drink at the pub.
